West Corner pays homage to the history of our small town of Milverton which was initially called West’s Corner when it was settled in 1848 by Andrew West. It remained West’s Corner for 23 years before being renamed to Milverton in 1871.
The train symbolizes the strength and growth of Milverton with the expansion of the Stratford & Huron Railway in 1877, and Canadian Pacific Railway in 1907.
